Error when sending email in ASP.NET Core using SmtpClient

Hi,

When trying to send email in Asp.Net Core/C# using SmtpClient I receive the following error:

"Syntax error, command unrecognized. The server response was: "

I am using `smtp.EnableSsl = true;`

Hi Arnel,

Thanks for your response and apologies for not being clear on the issue. I am using InMotion SMTP credentials to send emails from my ASP.NET application. I will contact support

Hello AGCPS,

Sorry for the issue with sending email in ASP.NET.  We're not 100% sure why you're asking this question at our site as we don't use Microsoft servers.  You may want to check out the posts from the ASP.NET forums. If you have it running on a server hosted by InMotion, then you may need to speak with our managed hosting team.  They will be able to help research issue with you.
